Weekend Like No Other

I wisked Sara away this weekend on a much need break from her hectic tax season. We drove about 3 hour out from Chicago to a little place called Sagatuck, MI on the other side of the lake from us. It was a ‘perfect’ weekend, with the average daily temp around 80 degrees. We spent so much time relaxing we don’t know how on earth we will be able to get back to the crazy city grind. We left friday afternoon and arrived at the Parkhouse Bed and Breakfast where we stayed in the Pansy suite. The place was great and the breakfasts were huge. On saturday we woke up and went to the beach, came home and each got a hour massage, jacuzzi, then a nice dinner. We headed back to the beach for sunset where we took our famous ‘praise’ picture for Aunt Bonnie’s collection. Then we got some ice cream at a little stand and then got in the jacuzzi again. Man saturday was rough!
We drove back to the windy city which happened to be super windy on sunday. Ozzie called us up and we went to Evanston for a fun cookout on the beach to top off our relaxing weekend. If only every weekend could be this stress free!

www.benjaminmurphy.com/photos (our photo gallery of sorts, i am finally getting around to adding all of the wedding photos taken in print resolution)

Not much is planned for the big New Year’s Eve bash tomorrow. We are just trying to do some winter cleaning since we’ve been so busy lately.

I will be posting another section off of my domain soon for family tree info. This will be a secure page and will have contact information for all of our family so that we can reach one another. There will probably be some excel, word, or pdf downloads from here. We’ll see how soon this happens, I have some job related things to take care of first.

Christmas Time!!!

You can feel it in the air… the one special time of year. Sara and I are gearing up for the big trip home, with lots of presents for the good boys and girls.

Here is a fun winter game to get you in the mood Snow is better in handfuls!

This is the first ever blog entry. Who knows if there will ever be another.
